                <text>Ringön är ett småskaligt industriområde beläget intill Göta älv i Göteborg, mitt emot den historiska stadskärnan. Som flera andra hamnområden i staden anlades Ringön i samband med att vassområden kring Göta älv utdikades under 1870- och 80-talen (1).  Till att börja med var detta verkligen en ö, omsluten av en kanal i norr och med fyra hamnbassänger i söder i anslutning till Göta älv. Området var länge tillgängligt endast med båt eller järnväg, över en bro. Från stora fartyg längre ut i Göteborgs hamn fördes råvaror på pråmar dragna av bogserbåtar in till områden i grannskapet kring Ringön där de bearbetades i olika verkstäder. Råvaruhantering och underhåll pågick lokalt kring älven nära stadskärnan och i specifikt Ringön låg förtöjda pråmar, pråmvarv och enkla lagringsställen. Brandrisken var stor. &#13;
&#13;
Till följd av containeriseringen har förädlingen av produkter kommit att ske i de länder där tillverkningskostnaderna och lönerna är som lägst och vi ser inte längre upplag med råvaror och halvfabrikat kring älven. Under 1950-talet fylldes kanalen kring Ringön igen och området fick en stadsplan med gator och kvarter för fortsatt industriell expansion. Främst etableras småverkstäder och lager. Två decennier senare bedömdes Ringön ha varit ett välfungerande område ”utan utvecklingsproblem” (2).  &#13;
&#13;
Andra industriområden på norra älvstranden som var uppväxta kring varvsindustrin drabbades hårt av 1970-talets oljekris i kombination med strukturella förändringar i den industriella sektorn. Stora ytor efter norra älvstranden övergavs men sedan 1980-talet har Göteborgs stad använt dessa för ny bebyggelse och försökt omvandla stadens image från tung industriell karaktär till en blandstad av renare och ljusare snitt för kunskapsindustri och vattennära bostäder. Den här älvstrandenutvecklingen närmar sig nu stadens mitt. Näst i tur för omvandling står områden i anslutning till den historiska stadskärnan; dels södra älvstranden strax väster om kärnan, dels Frihamnen belägen mitt emot den senare. &#13;
&#13;
Ringön som ligger granne med Frihamnen kommer påverkas direkt genom att Götaälvbron ska bytas ut och den nya brons fäste anläggas mer mot öster på Hisingssidan och ta några kvarter av Ringön i anspråk. Resten av Ringön sägs ha en planeringshorisont på ytterligare tjugo år. Men i och med att kvarteren kring den nya bron kommer få kontor och möjligen bostäder, kan det tänkas att acceptansen för vilka verksamheter som fortsatt kan vara kvar i Ringön blir lägre. &#13;

                <text>Broar har alltid varit viktiga för kommunikationen mellan två områden som annars hade haft svårt med utbyte mellan varandra. Angeredsbron är inget undantag för detta då det passerar ca 11. 500 fordon om dagen över bron. Den har varit till gagn både för arbetspendlare och för shoppare som skall till Bäckebol eller Backaplan ända sedan den byggdes. &#13;
&#13;
Bron är en av tre broar över älven i Göteborg och sträcker sig över E45, Göta älv och E6 samt tågbanan med start Göteborg vidare mot Trollhättan. Bron binder ihop stadsdelarna Angered och Kärra.&#13;
&#13;
Angeredsbron invigdes den 3 december 1978 av kommunfullmäktiges ordförande Olle Jansson som klippte bandet. Spexiga chalmerister dök upp och knöt ihop bandet igen och bad Johansson att kippa det igen med en sax av annat format. Dock hade bron öppnats dagen innan för 2000 löpare som skulle springa mellan Angered och Kärra Centrum, ett lopp som skulle återkomma under några år. I och med färdigställandet av bron lades färjan vid Nybro ner efter i 300 år i bruk. Färjan hade används av mestadels bönder för att transportera jordbruksprodukter till stadens torg.  &#13;
&#13;
Angeredsbron påbörjades 1975 som en del av ringledsprojektet, och skulle avsluta sträckan som gick från Åbromotet i Mölndal genom Västra Frölunda över Älvsborgsbron och i en båge på Hisingen till Kärra och över bron till Angered. Ursprungligen planerades två par broar med sammanlagt sex körfält men det blev en bro med tre körfält samt en skyddad dubbelriktad cykel och gångbana. Det tog Skånska Cementgjuteriet AB tre år att färdigställa bron. Det användes ca 1500 ton armering och 500 ton spännarmering. Broplattorna är hårt armerade med så kallad buntad armering i flera lager och som på grund av sin storlek kyldes under tiden närmast efter gjutningen av kylslingor där vatten cirkulerade. &#13;

Som med de flesta byggnader som uppförs i Göteborgsregionen behövde bron pålas, detta tog lite mer än 800 pålar med längder varierande mellan 20 till 50 m. Sammanlagda längden på pålarna är ca 30. 000 m. Bron är 930 meter lång med en fri segelhöjd på 47m, facken mellan pelarna är 130m. Kostnaden för bygget landade på 75 miljoner varav staten bidrog med 56 miljoner. Bron gick under arbetsnamnet Agnesbergsbron men då den var en del av förbindelsen Angered-Kärra ändrades namnet till det nuvarande.&#13;

                <text>Vänern är Sveriges största sjö, och 26:e störst i världen. Vid sydvästra spetsen av Vänern ligger Vänersborg som idag är regionhuvudstad i Västra Götaland. Det betyder att huvuddelen av länets administration utgår från staden. Vänersborg har drygt 20 000 invånare och brukar ibland kallas för Lilla Paris. I väster ligger Vänersborgs folkpark, Dalaborgsparken. &#13;
&#13;
Dalaborgsparken ligger i ett vackert naturområde. Där finns en friluftsteater med ca 600 sittplatser och en dansrotunda. Parken drivs sedan 2004 av en ideell styrelse. För att få råd att starta dansverksamheten igen började man hyra ut lokaler till kommunen. Både den före detta festlokalen och restaurangen byggdes om och idag har Dalaborgs Förskola sin verksamhet där, något som ger en fin bild över livets cykel: mor- eller farföräldrarna till barnen på förskolan kan ha träffats på dansgolvet eller i restaurangen där deras barnbarn nu leker. &#13;
&#13;
Under sommaren hålls danskvällar sedan några år tillbaka. Då bjuder man in dansband och livemusik för alla danssugna. Många folkkära artister har gett sommarkonserter på Dalaborgsparken. Vissa av gästerna kommer i par, men de flesta ensamma. Styrelsen har även ordnat med en liten korvvagn, så det finns möjlighet att köpa korv med bröd eller ta en enkel fika.&#13;
&#13;
På vintern brukar det vara julmarknad. Dessa evenemang har tidigare varit väldigt populära och dragit stor publik, men på senare år har besökarantalet minskat påtagligt. I augusti 2015 kallade därför styrelsen till ett stort möte, dit man bjöd in politiker, näringsidkare, allmänheten och andra intressenter för att diskutera hur man ska få fler att vilja besöka parken. På mötet deltog cirka 30 personer, och man kom fram till att fler behöver engagera sig i parken då styrelsen inte alltid har tillräckligt med tid, samt att man ska erbjuda samarbete med privata aktörer för att stärka ekonomin. För att få hjälp med bemanning beslutade man att ta hjälp av lokala idrottsföreningar. Dessa åtgärder tycks ha gjort susen, och under sommaren 2016 blev det betydligt bättre uppslutning. &#13;
