Description

Vägkorsningen i Övre Lugnås var förr centrum i byn. Där låg två affärer varav en precis i korsningen. Affärerna stängde på 70-talet. De hade allt man kunde tänka sig behöva; mat, husgeråd, verktyg, foder. Det som inte fanns gick att beställa.
I korsningen fanns en bensinpump och var också platsen där ungdomarna umgicks på onsdag och lördagskvällar.
Stig Johansson, född 1933, växte upp i affären vid korsningen. Anna-Lena Vilhelmsson, född 1949, växte upp i byn. Gunnel Törnell, född 1933, bor och har anknytning till Lugnås sedan länge. Lars Törnell, född 1956, bodde under ett par år i korsningen. Tillsammans samtalar de om korsningen och affären stående i korsningen en junidag. Precis som då passerar en hel del bilar i korsningen och de kommer på sig själva med att titta vem som kör förbi trots att det var ett tag sen de bodde där.
Inspelningen är en del av projektet Berättelser, minnen, platser där ljudkonstnären Richard Widerberg spelar in berättelser knutet till utvalda platser i olika bygder

Vägkorsningen i Övre Lugnås var förr centrum i byn. Där låg två affärer varav en precis i korsningen. Affärerna stängde på 70-talet. De hade allt man kunde tänka sig behöva; mat, husgeråd, verktyg, foder. Det som inte fanns gick att beställa.
I korsningen fanns en bensinpump och var också platsen där ungdomarna umgicks på onsdag och lördagskvällar.
Stig Johansson, född 1933, växte upp i affären vid korsningen. Anna-Lena Vilhelmsson, född 1949, växte upp i byn. Gunnel Törnell, född 1933, bor och har anknytning till Lugnås sedan länge. Lars Törnell, född 1956, bodde under ett par år i korsningen. Tillsammans samtalar de om korsningen och affären stående i korsningen en junidag. Precis som då passerar en hel del bilar i korsningen och de kommer på sig själva med att titta vem som kör förbi trots att det var ett tag sen de bodde där.
